Are your eyes bigger than your stomach?

The title says it all. All I can think about these days is food. Ever since my return from Toronto this topic is rampant in family circles. Ive been eating alot of junk food for the past 6 months now and need to cut back or Im going to end up nice and plump. And at 25 I dont want to be there just yet. 5 minutes of warming up, little bit of stretching and Im set for the day. Havent I also mentioned earlier about my allergy to gymns? My hiking, running I can do but mostly I love the indoors. Quite the homebody. Give me a laptop, throw in a television and Im set. About the food part of the title of this note, that comes from a funny incident back in my days in the hostel. Well fridays used to be ''roti'' nights. Big bowls were served on each table filled with yummy "Palak Paneer" that day. Being super hungry I just piled my plate with the gravy and at the end of dinner was the only one left trying to finish what was on my plate. Sister Sangeeta comes along wondering what was taking me so long and in her patent sarcastic tone said something that has been etched in my memory. Yup you guessed it right. That is exactly what she said to me. Ever since then I watch what I eat, always manage to finish whatever is on my plate and also avoid a second helping if possible.
Think its alright to just let go and binge sometimes, depending on your mood, but always keep in mind that you have to get back on track someday, preferably real soon :)

"Relationships"

I finally got down to it. Just decided that I have to write atleast one note consisting of minimum one paragraph per day. That is the only way I will hone my writing skills. It could be about anything under the face of this earth. Absolutely anything ranging from my views on current affairs, relationships,
home, garden, work, personal care, health, making money, food & drinks, weddings, fashion, crafts & DIY's to self-improvement. The point is to be able to express yourself in your own unique way. So here goes. I will begin with the topic, ''Relationships".
Relationships are always changing. We think we have control over them but we never realise when they take control of us. And soon-enough we start behaving in the way that we are seasoned to behave in. A friend has to be a certain way, supportive, always cheering you on, always by your side. But in todays world when we could get separated from each other at any point of time for any reason, ( physical barriers, emotional distance, intellectual differences ) how does one behave then? New people come into our lives and sometimes the old is forgotten. Family is just there by default. Whether you like them or not they are going to be around. And thats a good thing I guess, since mine is my anchor. Sometimes relationships can be burdensome especially when we need our own freedom. Everyone goes through that phase, and there are no true or false relationships. Only the ones that stick.
