So, everyone I virtually know is getting married or is on the verge of it. There are some in this who are perpetually in a state of running away from it all and some who just can't wait for the day to come. Some want it more than anything in this world whereas for others its nothing but a formality in order to fit into society. For those few who really want it, they come from the school of thought that movies like Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and Dil Toh Pagal Hai have conditioned them for.These people believe truly in their hearts that there is only one and truly one made for them somewhere in this world. The other are the people who have a more cautious and realistic approach which makes them want all those things like love, mush and marriage, but at the same time they have to put up a tougher exterior because they think if they believe in these things there would be lesser chances that they will actually work out for them. So they are the so-called realists. What the whole point in all this, as someone had put forth is the basic need to take forward your heritage(how much ever or however little that maybe). What I say is why can't u be a realist who believes in these things? Why do u have to be either one or the other? Why not just be both, afterall what's stopping you. Life?
